Virtual tour of the Twin H ranch? request for Bill Albright....
Bill, is there any way some of us east coasters that will never probably get a chance to see it, might be able to get a virtual tour of the ranch, via some pictures? I would be glad to host them, if you send them. I would love to see some of the "project cars" and other that seem to be in the backgroud.

Thanks Bill!
you're the man....
If anyone has pictures, send them to me, maybe I'll put up a quick webpage collage of the ranch. I think it would be cool!
Minimally, I will dedicate server space to host them, for everyone that cannot, to take a virtual tour of the ranch.

If you post the pictures and my wife catches me looking at them, I wouldn't be able to plan a vacation just to go to Bill's.

downloading them now.... big files....
even DSL isn't that fast....:eek:0 -
Sorry about that, did you get all three zip files? The wife only took photos of what interested her, there's a lot that isn't shown. Bill has piles and piles of parts, I'm not sure even he knows exactly what he's got...:eek:0
-
I got 1 and 3...
any way you can send me #2 again?
I think one of the best pictures is the steering wheels...
All I can say is wow....
I would love to see all of that stuff in person....
BTW thank you very much!
It is appreciated!0 -

Okay, it's been a long time in the making....
got up something simple yet effective. Thank you all for contributing pictures, etc... I have been quite busy for the last couple of weeks, and figured I needed to revisit this one.
Some of you might look at the "tour" and not quite understand, while others will view it with the same fascination that I did. Sure it looks a bit different than what I thought it would, but I bet it's the kind of place you can spend a day, and not see everything.
Several of my favorite pictures are the twin h aircleaners, the steering wheels, and especially some of the cars in various states of disassembly. Remember, some of these cars gave so others could continue to be on the road.
Also of special note should be Bill's 53 Hornet convertible. If memory serves, I was a but a kid, at my first Hudson Nationals in York, PA when he got it. I think the speedometer in there is from one of NASCAR's greats... (maybe Bill can tell us for sure)
Hope everyone else gets as much enjoyment by checking these out as I did gathering the pictures from the various sources. For sure, if i ever get out that way, I will make it a point to stop and see Mr. Albright, and spend some time seeing this place firsthand.
Again, thanks everyone for making this a reality for those of us who are coastally challenged....

Wow, I feel like I've been there. Thanks for your efforts, Hudsonkid for putting this together.
Most importantly, thanks to Bill Albright for everything he's done, and continues to do for our favorite brand.

Good job on making a tour of the ranch available to everyone. Sort of makes me feel at home.0

Very nice job putting those pictures together. And that's only part of the ranch, so much more in all the various rooms, so many parts to keeps us all going in style!0
-
Bill should sell raffle tickets so that the winner receives a shopping spree...all the parts you can grab in 15 minutes.0

Thanks hudsonkid! Cool pics and nice place bill a. I used to have fun as a kid working in a wrecking yard one summer......this would have been a cooler place to work!
I've got a cousin in Fontana, bill......haven't been there yet (we usually meet as his brother's house in Glendora)gotta make it over there one day. Is that north of Devore or is that just east towards San Bernadino? We use to hang out at the "Screamin Chicken" there back in my ridin' days (I think its off the 15 fwy near that nudist colony).

funny, I kind of prefer seeing the unfinished car and the donor cars sitting peacefuly. You can go to any car show to see finished cars, restored cars, etc.... but seeing cars sitting in their natural habitat is the best.0 -

yeah, my only regret is that you are on the other side of the country. Looks like a great place to see. I can at least say I sort of visited the place....:)0
