Spare tire/ jack mounting
On a '48 sedan:
What is the correct way to mount the spare and jack?
The spare appears to mount upside down flat to the floor and uses the round "dish" to bolt to the mount welded to the floor. But where do you put the jack, lug wrench, and jack base? Are they pinched under the spare or ?
Also, if the bolt that holds it down is a wheel bolt, wouldn't that mean that the lug wrench should not be under the spare so you can remove the bolt?
Any one have a picture or a description of all the peices in their proper place?
