    Randy:

Hemmings has been giving Hudson a fair amount of press the whole year. Not withstanding the 37 T delivery truck they purchased from Bill Albright...one of the members of the editorial staff has become very interested in Hudsons. That said... I will probably start a run on the copies still available in eBay etc. The summer 1971 Automobile Quarterly Volume IX, Number 4 was mostly devoted to the Hudson Automobile. The ... what might have been styles are captured in this book. The Stepdown designs shown on those pages were to forecast the future designs for Pontiac and Chevrolet. The 1945 design for the Stepdown has a grill treatment and ornament which are the same as you find on the 68-70 Pontiac Muscle cars. Several pages further into the book are sketches of Stepdowns, including a 4 door hardtop which look amazingly like the Chevy Caprices of the early 70s. Another reference book for the Hudsonites to search for and read.
