Another newbie coming a board.
Good afternoon Ladies and Fellas,
I've been lurking here for a couple years and have been picking up bits and pieces along the way. Thanks to all for the info I have gotten so far. Why I picked one of the hottest days of the year to finally hop on board I don't know. I am kind of new to Hudsons but well seasoned with cars. I have bought and traded with Bill Albright...... and just stood in the middle of his compound staring at all of the parts like I was stuck in screen saver mode. He is about an hour from me.
My wife has a black 50' Pacemaker 500 two door and drives it daily. It has a small block and a camaro front clip (before we bought it).
I have a 46' pick up that I picked up on ebay a couple years ago, it was the creme yellow/vanella colored one in Byron, Il. I did a frame off Hot Rod/shop truck resto to it. I shortend the bed one foot, shortend the wheel base six inches installed sedan fenders on the rear, installed a Ford nine inch posi rear end, muncie for speed trani and 327 Chevy with three two barrels. Yes It can boil the HELL out of the hides. I won't get into two much more detail on that.
Not long ago I bought what I think is a 32' Essex two door sedan in good restorable shape. This will be a full blown Hot Rod.... yes I said blown.
We also have a 60' Chevy brookwood wagon, because I could'nt find a step down wagon.
Thats enough for now, whew it's Hot.
Joe
