Not quite sure what use (if any) this would be, to anyone... Am I looking at this wrong, or was this originally a convertible?

If it had been a convertible, the windshield header would have be much more massive, and the doors would have vent windows in them. So fear not...this was an ordinary coupe or brougham that somone just decided to have some fun with. Looks like a very decent donor car that will yield a few transplants to a worthy restoration project, and at 99 cents it would be a great bargain as such.
