Help on engine pans

Does anyone have an exploded diagram of the engine pan sheet metal that they would e-mail me?? The car is a 39 , 6 cyl , pacemaker. Any help getting these back on the car would be appreciated.

Thanks,

David :confused::confused:

    I don't understand. What is the precise question? Are you trying to fabricate something, or just know how the pans fit back on the engine?
  • Just know how they fit. There are 5 pieces and I am not sure how to put them back on.

    Five pieces? It's been a long time since I reinstalled my oil pan, but I thought there were only two: the pan itself, and the dipper tray. What are the other three (or have I simply forgotten?)

    David. Are you referring to the splash pans that go between the engine and the frame rails? They keep water, mud etc. from getting up onto the engine.

    Oh, THOSE! The sod pans! I'm sorry, I was thinking of the oil pans. I doubt anyone has an exploded view. Best thing is get under the car and try to match them as you would a jigsaw puzzle, to the engine and to the holes that are drilled for the pans in the frame. Should be do-able!
  • Thanks for the responses. Yes, I was referring to the splash pans.

    They have weird shapes.
