FS: 1954 Super Jet
I have decided to sell my 54 Super Jet as I have too many projects.
I'm asking $2800 or best offer.
It is completely all-original with the exception of an electric fuel pump. That also includes totally original interior, though it needs work there. Needs carpeting, new seat fabric, etc. The interior has been in the desert sun too long. It also needs some new wiring as the original wiring insulation is not in good shape.
3-speed manual trans with overdrive.
The car is completely rust-free and VERY straight other than the front bumper. I have a few letters between the owner and Hudson Motor Company postmarked 1954 that come with the car. It's been in California since 1954 apparently since the owner's address was San Bernardino. Even has original paint, though a previous owner got a bit over-excited buffing it or something and got to the factory primer around the hood area.
It also comes with original fender skirts, factory shop manual, and a few spare parts like a gasket set and heather control cables.
The top has been media-blasted already and painted white. It looks very nice.
It runs very smoothly but I would not recommend driving it home mainly due to the condition of the wiring and the fact that I haven't gone through every system on it.
I'm in Burbank, California. You can email me at hudson@carlivar.com for more info or pics, or call 818-237-7448.

Since it is a Super Jet does that mean it has Twin H?0
-
twin h was optional on the super (perhaps not on the standard jet),
the super had more trim both interior and exterior. This was much like a wasp vs super wasp or hornet special vs hornet.0 -
Twin H was optional on all Jets.0
