Is the accessory original eqipment or an after market extra? Does it come with any type of consumer guarantee as to it's ongoing workability?

Hah! I can only wish! :-) Though I've always said I would never date a woman who looked like they could throw me across the room or snap my neck in two!

But these "rat rod" types seem to be really gaining in popularity. Kind of a way to rebel against the mega dollar rods some with endless amounts of cash and bolt on accessories are building. Though I'm not personally a fan of some of them (I'm not into skulls personally), I respect some folks attempts to get back to a more backyard/friends helping friends approach to rodding. Heck, half the time my car was in multi-colored primers when I would go to a NHRA event or local show (and most folks didn't care either). That's the way we did it years ago, we all helped each other and did most of our customizing with parts from other years/makes rather than bolt ons (there was not as much aftermarket 25 years ago). Though I did buy a new Fatmans MII for my Pace, most likely the rear suspension, tilt column, and such will be second hand stuff/or homemade. To me, thats the fun of rodding!

  • First off, I guarantee that "someone" I know saved those pictures.... :p

not me, she seems a bit too tough for me, and a bit too old....

Second, for some reason, she seems to be the type that should leave more of her clothes on to leave something to the imagination.

Why does it seem that we keep seeing more and more of this, especially with these "rat rod" types.... the truck looks pretty well done, but I bet the number of hits this gets helps the sale...

Good stuff... sure beats high priced shipping...

edit** I am almost embarassed to post it, but if anyone wants the entire series, click on this link....

I noticed this too scanning the web. Many of the gals are dressed up like the 40's and 50's pin-ups except that many now sport a wide variety in amounts of tatooing. I'm not into too many tatoos on a woman, but some of these women are HOT!!! (hope my wife doesn't read this post! lol)

Yep, she's like a stewing hen, old and tough. She was probably a babe 20 years and 75lbs ago. She sure should leave more clothes on, preferably dark ones with vertical stripes. Kind of a wacky way to advertise if you ask me.
  • There may be a few fullbacks in the NFL whose thighs are larger than hers, but then, you're not gonna get those smokin' fishnets!

What rat rod? Was there a rat rod in those pictures?
    Chaz
  • betcha she could crack walnuts . . . . but did you see those cool door panels ? well, i don';t have one like it so i should not comment . .
  • I don't know what the LOW reserve is, but the bid is over $12K and still not met. I think the girl is of the right age and dressed properly to attract the interested and eventual buyer of a rod like this. SHE FITS RIGHT IN THE RECENT RAT ROD MAGS.

  • I bet a bottle of real strong whiskey could make her look real good around 2 in the morning. That is BAAAAD and skankey.
  • yeah, I was gonna put a bid on it, but after seeing her, something made me change my mind....

    Just a small art lesson.
Say what you want but as a professional Artist she would make a great model to paint or draw. The reason is that it is much easier to draw or paint someone with a lot of curves since you have many more reference points to work from. That goes for all you big bellied guys out there too. The hardist person to paint or draw is a young thin male because the curves are so subtle. The only reference points are at the joints and then you have to rely strictly on triangulation. And who knows I might make a million dollars re-starting a trend of painting big butted women. Rubens did it.
An-n-n-d, the car is nice too if you are in to rat rods. My favorite part of the car is the interior.
    Peace,
    Chaz
