Traveling-New Job
I have just recently taken a new position as a Driver Recruiter for a mid size trucking Company. I will be traveling a couple of weeks a month and if my schedule permits I would rather meet other Hudnuts, swap Hudson stories, and look at your great cars than sit around a motel room. If you would PM me your phone number I will call you and maybe we can get togeather.
This Thursday and Friday I will be in the Philly and Baltimore areas, next week I will be in East St. Louis IL and Indianapolis IN areas.

Pat, whenever I travel I take along my HET roster and give folks a friendly call. Sometimes it doesn't work out, but when it has, I have always had a great time. I have been able to see some great cars and meet some of our fantastic club members.

I run a truck driving school in So Cal, so let me know if you ever get down this way and we can mix some business with pleasure. (If you can call cruising around in a 52 Hudson "beater" pleasureable!

I've visited with Hudson folks as I travelled around the country on business, always have had a warm welcome. Except for Pittsburg...there, Paul and the gang only took me to dinner, bought me drinks, drove me out to Dave Sollon's garage to see 137 stepdown convertibles, and talked Hudsons so long they ran out of material and had to start telling the truth. Otherwise, I've always had a good time...LOL0

I am usually around Cannonsburg about once a month. But lately I have been there when no one is at Dave's shop. Maybe I'll catch up with you at Jim Barnes's Meet and I'll buy you a coke.

Send me a formal invitation to give a presentation at your school and maybe I can talk the boss into letting me fly out in January or Febuary. LOL
When it's winter in PA, I would even ride in a brand X beater in So. Cal.

I carry the roster with me. I have cyberly (word?) gotten to know the members of this board and the roster does not list forum handles.
Maybe at the national and large meets that use name tags your internet handle can also be printed with you real name, then you would know someone who you do know.

Not a problem! I drive the Hudson more in the winter than I do the summer (the heater works better than the A/C.)0
