53 Hornet upholstery

I am trying to locate replacement fabric for my 53 Hornet (4 dr). Until I find it, I'd like to patch what I have. Therefore, I am looking for someone's old seat upholstery. If you have replaced your upholstery and have not discarded the old fabric, I'd like to buy it regardless of condition. If I can get a few square feet of fabric, I'll be set to go while I look for more.



The fabric I need has the square checkerboard pattern and is blue-green in color with alternating tan-green squares.

"In case any body interested in correct address of provider of almost same as orginal checkerboard material it's the following: Duralee Fabrics Ltd., 1775 Fifth Avenue, Bays****, N.Y. 11706 I received my blue check, it looks great however Duralee offers many other colors. I also have the plain matching blue from Peachtree Fabrics, these are the samples Ken U. recommended & posted some months ago."

Thanks again for the lead. I have contacted Duralee and they said that the pattern has been discontinued. I am now trying to find someone that has some in stock somewhere. I have had even less luck with Peachtree but I'm still trying.



My immediate need is to patch the hole in my seat and that is why I'm trying to find someone who has re-upholtered and has the old fabric. Even if it is in bad shape, I should be able to find enough material for a patch that will hold things together while I look for the new upholstery fabric.
