Fabric Pattern Dash Dulling
Since I can't seem to make the search function work......and yes, I'm posting here!
Question for all you resotrers:
My Pace Coupe has the fabric style colored dash. It is in great shape with no dings, or scratches, etc. It would have been nearly perfect, but the last owner drilled to holes on the underside of the dash to install a stereo. But, it seems slightly dull up around the windshields. The pattern is not gone, just dulled a bit from the sun.
Is there a way to even out the look? Would a clear coat make everything look the same brightness? Any suggestions? I would like to keep the stock dash, though I may install a flip-down panel for additional electronic stuff. If there isn't a way to do this, I'll probably just paint it.

Can you take a good digital picture? If the color pigment hasn't faded differently than the rest a good clear coat would most likely bring it back. That style or pattern is re-creatable if you want to repaint it like it is now after fixing or doing your mods...0 -

Might take me a couple days as I've gotta be in the office all weekend, 9/15 corporate tax deadline!0
