practice test (posting a picture)
I just got my Hudson out of the paint shop (last Thurs.) and after spending all night Thursday putting bumpers, lights etc back on the car. I then spent all weekend at the Route 66 Rendezvous cruising with a couple thousand other cars.
I am going to try and post a picture for the first time.

Definitely "thief" proof.
Looking good, tho.

Rick, posting pictures your way will be much easier, and by the way, I bought a new pair of RayBans this weekend. (And to think that I was afraid of the eye damage from welding!) I didn't have any problems getting noticed this weekend, that was for sure!
Alex, you probably have guessed that I need to go visit Bill A. for some door handles. You're right, I just need to spank my checking account first!
Thanks for the compliments guys,

Uh, Please help the "helpless" among us. What is a "separate" session? I haven't figured it out on my own.

"Does this orange make my fenders look fat?"
Glad to see you got her done and out for fun!!!0 -

That car reminds me of the orange stands (shaped like an orange) that used to be along the highways of California. "Like deja vu all over again."

I wonder if the fact that my parents owned orange groves when I was a kid had any influence on my choice of color...... hmmm. nah.

Sweet Ride!
I love the Disc caps - are these the push on type or held with screws?0 -

Swweeetttt Terry! You don't need no stinkin' door handles! I think you need flame throwers on that one...would look cool against that paint!
Love that orange man. Nice work. JP, I remember those orange julius stands all up and down Hwy 99 when I was a kid.

A separate session is having two "separate" browser windows open. FOr example, let's say you were real skilled and could surf the internet on two computer, well, in this case, you are surfing on one computer, but using two windows. your browser might be Internet Explorer, and when you open one, minimze it, (the upper right corner, the small line thingy) click on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop, again, and this will open a second "session" you can click on the tabs at the bottom of your screen to go back and forth.
I often do this when I work on my website, or if I'm trying to hurry around the internet, or looking something up for reference when I'm on a message board (such as this)
I hope that made it clear.
"Orange you glad I answered your question?"
hahahaha.....0 -
I didn't intend to hi jack the thread.
But.. Yep, Now I know what a second session is. I tried it, but for some reason whenever I right click to paste.. The "Paste" is gray not black, so I don't have the option. I am going to continue to experiment and "hack' 'till i get it.
Thanks, dave w0 -

Dan,
They are the push on type and not "Moons". I was a little reluctant to buy them at first (I had visions of hubcaps passing me on the freeway) but the price was right, I think I paid $55 or $60 for them. I've had them on for about 3 1/2 years with no problems other than dogs liking them. But I am sure that Rambo has better manners than that! The other plus is that it is real easy to check air pressure, not having to remove screws and all.
Jay,
The only reason I need door handles is to have something to grab onto when I am getting up from under the car. The wife refuses to help me anymore.
Flame throwers are in the works, but I occassionally smell gas fumes from the rear of car, so I thought I would fix that first. I already have a BBQ. I am also thinking about a hint of blue/purple flames on the sides, but I'm not sure I want my car to stand out that much. Right.

WOW - Nice ride! As I set here looking at the sun reflecting off the Orange paint the name "Thunder Pumpkin" comes to mind.

Very cool.. the moon disc's and the color go hand in hand perfectly. My parents had a custom orange van when I was growing up... I had to paint my 64' ElCamino, corvette hugger orange. must be addictive0

Nothing says 50's to me more than the moon disc wheels on a car...I bought some knock-off "moonie" discs too - but these are the screw mount type and I haven't quite figured how to get a screw through the rim - I'm guessing it needs to be a self tapping screwI got the screw on style only so when 1/4 mile racing I can leave them on!
If it don't go fast it better look good getting there!
Rambo has much better manners than thathe does do the boy dog thing but sticks to the organic surfaces...its all about training and repetition!

Ok now that you guys are talking about orange I think it's safe to post a pic of my pick-up.0

Nice one Lance!0

Thanks guys. I was thinking about redoing the wheels in the stock cream color. My wife likes that combo and said it would be like a 50-50 bar.0

Lance,
Nice choice of color! I understand the fear, but hey, we're different enough to drive a hudson, so lets go with the bold colors.
