29 Essex Parts For Sale
Guys: I have a complete driveline for a 1929 Essex in my garage. It has the motor, transmission, driveshaft, complete rear end wheel to wheel and front end wheel to wheel. It also has the 4 wooden spoked wheels in good shape - no dry rot, etc., brake linkages, etc. Does anyone know what this is worth? It was running when pulled from the car 2 years ago and has about 68-69,000 miles on it. It doesn't look like its ever been taken apart.
Thanks in advance
Mike

I am interested in selling the whole thing - complete. It takes up too much room in my garage and I have other projects that I am working on.
Thanks0 -
Where are you located. I have a restored 29 Essex but need a better transmission and could use the rear end

Is anyone interested in these parts?0

The White Triangle News (newsletter of the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club) would be an ideal place to offer this package for sale, if you can hold out for a few more weeks. The readership is 3500 as opposed to a couple hundred here at the website. I can get the ad placed for you at no cost. The downside is that you've just missed the Oct. 1 deadline for the next issue, and the issue after that comes out January 15. If you send me an ad quickly, I can see if they'll slip it in for the issue that comes out next month. I know someone out there needs that stuff!0

How do I get an ad to you? If you pm me your e-mail I will write one up with some digital photos of the parts and send it to you.
Thanks for the offer - I agree that somebody needs these parts especially for if they are doing an authentic restoration.
Thanks

Anybody at all interested in these parts? If not it's off to the wreckers or sold for scrap0

Mike please don't do that. I am in NZ and would love the parts but too far obviously. I am a member of the Essex e-mail group. Can you e-mail me directly with your contact details and I will post a notice there. There are bound to be people closer to you that can save these parts. My e-mail is HEThoward.fam@xtra.co.nz (drop the HET). I lookforward to hearing from you.
Thanks
