1940 Model Identification
Thanks for the help, but I still do not know what exactly is the difference between a 1940 Traveler 6 and 1940 Deluxe 6. They both begin with 40 in the serial #, have the same 175 ci engine, and the short 113" wheelbase. Is the Traveler a stripped version of the DeLuxe? My first car was one of these. Thanks again for any help. Paul.

A friend of mine had a 1940 Traveller - I believe the major difference between the Traveller and the DeLuxe is that the DeLuxe had operating vent windows; the Traveller didn't. I would also say there is probably some trim differences and probably the DeLuxe had a bit fancier interior.0
