Who makes best leaf spring replacements?

Took springs down while replacing rear axle in my '49 Super. Noticed spring bolt is
barely long enough to reach into hole in axle's saddle. Thinking it might be good time to replace springs.
Any suggestions for where to get replacements?

Is it possible to just replace bolt?

I have ordered springs from Eaton before, but Randy might be cheaper. (he probably gets them from Eaton too).

Replacing the centre bolt is very doable.
Leaf spring centre bolts are specials with a tall round (1/2" dia?) head that engages with the locating hole in the axle, most spring shops will have or can readily make replacements. From memory Hudson used 5/16" dia spring bolts.
You will need to be able to keep the spring leaves clamped together during the replacement process, either that or let the spring shop do the replacing, its something they are set up for.

Eaton is pretty much the only game in town unless you go to a spring maker that will build them for you from specs they have.  I would also imagine Eaton is where Randy gets his.  Shipping is expensive due to weight.
