Ok if no one knows that how about how to remove the center grill? Will that alone allow access to the side grill for removal?0

I haven’t had to take mine out yet. Sorry!0

I am wanting to get spot welded or maybe epoxy some metal strips in teh side grill openings so that it will be more secure0

It should be reasonably self-evident; look for the small bolts that hold the front assembly together. Earlier models had the radiator brackets secured to the grille shell, and then to the shield in front of the bottom of the radiator, but cant remember what the '39 cars had. Probably a bit more complicated having the hood hinged at the front.0

Thanks Geoff, appreciate the info. May try just removing the center grill and doing it that way. Should be enough room for someone to get in and do what I want done.0
