Folks,

here is my favorite new ebay ad. Not only for the description and the fact you can tell absolutely nothing from the pic but that shipping to me is $13. I call this a laugh riot and oh, by the way its not sharpened.

That was 100% lead in those pencils back then! Must be why its so heavy and the high shipping costs
  • I'll take a dozen
  • I can't believe anyone would pass this up! lol
  • Damn, with eight bucks shipping, that had better arrive at my door as soon as the auction ends!
  • For that price it ought to arrive sharpened - just for the cost of the manual labor.... why couldn't they have listed it with a BUY IT NOW option?????? I especially love that when you enlarge the photo it takes you to the link of the photo below of the exact same size. Pure genius.
  • No way the guy is going to risk a buy it now on a genuine article such as this. I sense this pencil will soon generate a bidding war that will put Barrett Jackson to shame. it may even go as high as 7 cents but don't quote me on that. This is a genuine 1950's Hudson Motorcar Handheld Personal Data Entry Assistant or HMHPDEA for short. These were cutting edge when first intoduced by Hudson. They were individually balanced by the Hudson engineering department and were guaranteed for life.

    C'mon folks--

This is a completely unmolested, stock, Hudson item, No rat rodder has tried to put an after market eraser on it.

    ...now that's funny!:D
  • Either an aftermarket eraser or, worse yet, non-stock lead!

An accountant's dream - an unsharpened pencil, with the word "Hudson" on it... :)

But - the eraser is probably dry-rotted...

(Sorry Jay, couldn't pass this up...).

No prob Rick! Anyone want to buy a tax practice? lol I'd really like to get out of this biz! If only they'd pass the flat tax, it would force me into poverty retirement! LOL
