What does it mean when a post is "locked"?

    So if it's an item for sale (it is) no one can reply to it?  What the H is that all about?

    Doubtful that any moderator would lock an item for sale unless there was an extraordinary reason to do so.  Do you see such a posting that is locked?

    If you did encounter such a posting, you could try a PM

    It would help if you pointed at the locked post. There are many reasons why a post may have been locked of course

    It's my post in parts for sale, a Commodore steering wheel center piece.  See no reason for it to be blocked.

    I can't see any post under MickeyB in there , there are 4 posts in total on the forum that you have made none of which are locked

    MickeyB's posting about the Commodore part for sale (which appears over on the H-E-T Forum) was erroneously locked.  It has now been unlocked.
