1951 Hudson Ignition/Coil Question
I'm running a stock 6v positive ground system. When I turn key on, I have juice from my ignition wire to the neg post of the coil. Test light confirms juice to the distributor wire and points, but no spark. I'm thinking the secondary part of the coil may be bad. Should I replace it?

Make sure your points are open when chasing voltage on this circuit.0

I've tested primary and secondary resistance on one of these in the past. I would have to test again to give you the values of mine (assume they will vary some). Maybe yours will test open then you will know its bad.
Here is a little video how https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIx4dxew_UU
Maybe someone will chime in on specs within range.0 -
