looking for napa numbers for front and rear shocks.model 40. thank you

Front shocks are the same through 54. I use 1982 Chevy LUV rear shocks on my 40. The rubber “eye” is a little too wide for the top mount, but it’s easy to narrow down on a belt sander or grinder. The bottom may need it as well, I don’t remember. I’ve used these on 1940-47’s. I usually get air shocks, so there is some adjustability if I’m carrying passengers or luggage, etc.
