1917 limo

Hi everyone- Just a little info on the 17 limo I bought about a year

ago. Del Crawford owned originally, bringing it from the state of New

York in 1964. The storey he tells me is that it came from the state of

Pennsylvania around the Erie area when it was new. It has been in the

west Michigan area since 64. Del sold it to Clyde Poll in the mid 80`s

who owned a museum and restored cars. Clyde started a restortation but

never finished, he closed the museum and sold many of his cars to a

gentleman called Easy Russ. Russ lives about 5 miles from me and

thats how I found the car. The car is the same model as found on page 46

of The History of Hudson by Don Butler.

The car has had some wood replaced, and the paint striped and primed.

The engine needs some work (boring-new piston etc.)

it is in overall good condition. I am looking for original side lamps,

and speedometer hookup on trans. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hudsonly Gene.
