Biddle vs Murphy
Hi everyone!
Chris completed a very informative posting (he wrote for two hours)describing in detail the differences
regarding Hudson cars Built by Murphy, designed by Murphy and Built by Biddle & Smart.
He has spent considerable time researching the diferences in the two. Some are subtle and some are pretty obvious. The book of Don Butler's is not entirely accurate. We have quite a bit of historical info and archival photos as well.
Chris was anxious to share this with everyone and wanted to confirm the car of Al's for sale is a Biddle & Smart body, designed by Murphy.
Unfortunately, the detail message he tried to post was lost in the black hole when he tried to post. Likely due to problems setting us up in the community.
Our 28 7-passenger (Biddle & Smart body) is currently being restored. We restored a 29 5-passenger Landau (or Sport) Sedan (Biddle & Smart) for a client and have been studying the issue for several years.
