Hudson Super Six car watches

Some of them were mounted on the dash, some were mounted in the rear

compartment of limousines. Some used a screw on type of mounting,

others had a "stand" as mounted on rear compartment at back of front

seat.

The better quality ones have a little round aperature between III &

IV showing red/white - this is called in clock/watch parlance an

"up/down indicator"; as red begins to show, indicates spring is

winding down & time to re-wind.

Unfortunately a lot more of the watches survive than the cars, LOL.
