I have a complete 27 running gear that I picked up because several of the

components are the same as my 28. However, the motor parts are completely

different. My 27 motor has the spark plugs on the left side and none of the

manifold parts are interchangeable with 28. If your 27 has two intake ports

in the head, then none of the later stuff will work. Hope this helps. Jeff.
