Re: 24 parts car
I have identified and counted up the rims that I have and I do have 2 extra
rims. Now before anyone gets excited, they are not perfect. One rim shows
an old repair. It has eight inches of welding at the root of where one tire
bead would sit. This weld starts where the rim meets itself and goes toward
the nipple that the tire stem goes through. This is one of the rims that my
"good car" was using. Rim number two has a bent latch mechanism, the fixed
part that the pivoting arm traps.
I figured out that the mismatched rim was for a buick, as the person that
was storing the Hudson has about 8 mid-20's Buick parts cars.
Lew let me know what other stuff you might need, as the two doors have
window risers, and I believe the door handles are all intact..and different
than mine... let alone a chassis full of other stuff..
