Re: Clock Mounting Bracket
Well, let's try this again. This will be the third attempt to send
this, but here goes. I talked to club member Perry Spring about
borrowing his clock bracket to try to reproduce. He volunteered to
take his to a foundry and see about having some cast. The question he
had was, do we want them rough cast (we do the finishing), ready for
plating (all drilling and grinding done) or chrome plated (everything
done). I would suggest having the grinding and drilling done so that
each member would have the option of painting, nickel plating or
chrome plating. Would all interested parties E-mail me with their
preference so that I can pass the information along to Perry. Once I
tell Perry what we want, he will work out a price. Ken, thanks for
the offer of the loan, but due to the above, it should not be
necessary. Your meet sounds interesting, but I have committed to
displaying my 1946 CJ2A (Jeep) in an antique truck show in Whittier
on the same day. Thanks again, Jeff.
