29 Hudson conv. coupe for sale
Gentlemen - have decided I have too many cars to ever finish & so am
going to sell my '29 H conv. cp., one of about 6 or 8 known to exist.
It is a 56 K mi. Calif. car which I've owned on & off for over 30 yrs.
Final assembly of part of the new wood to frame needs to be
completed. It is mechanically all restored. There are no dents or
was there ever any rust. All of the chrome has been replated. I
have the paint for it (orig. colors, 2 shades of green, pin-stiped
in yellow - wire wheels have been powder-coated).
It has wire wheels & dual sidemounts. It sits on NOS '29 period
tires. The body as of now is not affixed to the new wood frame.
In addition to the parts for the car I have a huge horde of parts
which I would sell either with the car or will sell separately if the
buyer of the car doesn't want everything. I started it up & ran it
about 2 yrs. ago & have driven it in the past.
I'd prefer to sell it someone nearby due to problems of shipping it
otherwise. I'm asking $15,000 for the car complete (which inc. NOS
headlamps, etc.); that would NOT inc. all the spare parts &
literature. I have complete set of new main bearings, gobs of NOS
valves, extra chrome, handles, mech. parts, instruments, etc., etc. -
takes up most of one end of a wall in my garage as well as sales
brochures, owners manuals, orig. ads, shop manuals.
If interested probably best to call me at 760-737-9075.
