Serial By Body
The idea that Hudson would assign serial numbers by body style is an
interesting one. It sorta makes sense if they made the cars up in batches --
say all Tourings this week and Coaches next week. Did this system extend to
the mid twenties, and if so, should my '26 Anderson Coupe have an "oddball"
serial, maybe in a run of chassis to be sent on to various custom body
builders?
