Perhaps of interest to others, and one that I have not been able to find

in any official literature, but the r.h.d. Hudsons continued to use the

Delco Starter Genertaro up to and including 1926, the last side-valve

model. I think this was because the position of the steering box

precluded the use of the seperate generator and starter motor. Or

perhaps it was a convenient way to use up existing stock? All of our

N.Z. side-valve Super Sixes are so equipped. From '27-thu-29 the

Autolite seperate units were used.
