Butlers Sources?

We have treated Butler's History Of Hudson like a Bible and I guess that

is testimony to the tremendous effort that went into compiling and editing

the material. Nonetheless, there are errors and corrections that should be

made to future editions. Does anybody know what happened to his notes and

source material? Who is in charge of the revisions for future additions? Does

anybody know who this man was or where he hailed from? I have asked these

questions of a many Hudson fan in the past but nobody seems to know. Mebbe

his references, notes and source documents are in the Twilight Zone with the

'28 shop manual . . .
