I have an intake manifold which is different to the ones I have
on the 24, 25 and 26 cars. It is more rounded in shape than the
others, which are basically square in shape. I have often thought
this was the later type of manifold used in 26. It has the standard
Stewart carburetter attached.
Also in Butlers book p71. shows a picture of S/S prototype with
an interesting hot air arrangement on the inlet side of the carby.
I wonder if this photo is correct for 1920.
