Coupla Things

First, whatever happened to the fellow who was going to reproduce the

'28 crankhole cover? That subject seemed to drop off of the edge of

the world about a month ago. I am interested in acquiring one or two

(just in case).



Next, I have been looking for the e mail address or other way of

finding Don Sommers, the alleged perpetrator of the "stainless"

casting of the winged radiator guy. No luck so far..any hints? (I

think he might live somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle). By the way,

I am still pursuing having a quality casting done in either "German

Silver" or brass. My guy has been broken at the knees and repaired

once but I think it can be fixed "in wax" before casting. I also

need to find a source for the metal ring that surrounded the brass

base of the radiator cap...mine is broken in several pieces and would

be hard to reproduce as it stands.



Finally, I seem to have purchased a "semi-basket case" '23 H that is

pretty straight and I was wondering who is the resident '23 expert.
