I wrote to the guy with the crankhole cover, but have heard nothing since.
Give Chris Purdum a holler; (Chris@customsandclassics.com ) I bet he has Don
Sommers' address, but you don't really want that mascot if Chris could get
his reproduced. Of all the original, broken, or reproduced mascots I've ever
seen, his is truly a work of art. Must be one of the first ones ever made.
Call Dave Kostansek; see what he's got for broken mascot parts. Ask him
about crankhole covers too. Then ask him if he'll trade his roadster for my
Chevy pickup (I certainly don't have the nerve to ask!!!)
And last but not least, also tell Dave about that '23 you've got.
