29 Hudson engine

Has anyone modified the engine breathing on these engines?

My engine has 3 small holes in the rocker cover also a hole in the casting

below the distributer, also the vents in the tappet cover.

I have seen an engine fitted with the later Hudson engine breather tubes

on the the tappet covers. Would this work and Keep engine cleaner?
