Serendipity and stuff

Thanks for bringing up a subject that I was sort of reluctant to

broach: Removal of the throttle, timing and light switch rods from

the steering column for lubrication. I am getting tired of my timing

changing every time I rotate the wheel. My temporary solution is to

strap the throttle lever down (OF COURSE with "hay wire"..is there

another way?) but that's sort of tacky. I was wondering if I would

have to cut my chicken wire...LOL



Next, I would like to commend us all for the amazing amount of

discourse regarding the proper hubcaps for various years and models.

Is this, perhaps, something that could be found the the

"specifications" book that ...... who was it?.....sells? If not, it

could well be grist for his mill. It is trivial stuff like this that

makes life interesting for us old guys.
