1927 S/S muffler
Thanks to all for your suggestions.I spoke to Mr. Waldron who
apprised
me of the "cigar"type muffler used on our cars when new.He also said
that it was quite common in the aftermarket to use a "straight
through"
cylidrical type for replacement. While the usual size seemed to be
around 30", he agreed with my muffler guy that the legnth was not as
important as the design. So I will use a basic truck muffler for now
to
avoid carbon monoxide and will ask Santa to put one of Mr.Waldron's
$175. cigars in my stocking.
thanks again,
mike
