I need a replacement deck for my 50 Pacemaker. The original has spots and fading due to sun.

Who is the "Best of the Best" supplier right now?

    Bill Albright, Fontanna,Ca..

If ya poke around the froum you can find his email address or someone may post it. What does spots and fading mean? If it isn't rusted with holes in it or caved in, I'd give it and the rest of the car a high quality paint job. Being a family hierloom, it certainly deserves it. Or if the rest of the paint is good, ask around for a good shop that can do a color match.

    Thanks for letting me share.

Spots look like water spots but I did a water test on teh back widow and got NO leaks. The fading has teh fabric lighter than the headliner.

The original paint needs to be professionally cleaned, polished, waxed and buffed. Ther it on two spots that need some repair. One dime size spot on teh left front fender top where a board fell against it a few years back and the right rear wheel cover has a crack in the paint.

There is a lot of dirt build up in the wheel wells. But so far only light surface rust is being found under it. So as I get the dirt out, I am cleaning the area, fan drying for 48 hours (with heat), sanding, air blasting, and prime coating.

Same with the floors under the dried rubber floor mats. Light surface rust.
