Can Someone Check Their Car . . .

At long last, parts are Going back together on the '26 Coupe. One group

of bits ready for assembly are the hood latch parts that bolt to the splash

apron with the spring loaded hooked handles. The base part is an assembly

with a bottom plate (with the holes to be bolted down to the apron) and other

parts riveted to it. I have painted, powdercoated, plated, brazed and bored

the parts and have everything ready to drive the rivet in, but I have

forgotten which way round the base plate mounts. Would somebody please check

their 24/25/26 Super Six to see if the folded sheet metal hinges go inboard

toward the hood or outboard toward the fender?
