I Snagged My Dad-Burned Speedo Cable!

A couple of weeks ago we pulled the engine on the '26 Super Six. Somehow,

while extracting that great lump, I snagged the dad-burned speedo cable on

something and kinked the outer case. What now? Should I try straightening it,

wrap it with tape, or what? There are folks that make up cables, but this one

was working fine up until I "modified" it.
