Paul, if you look on page 8 of the '29 owner's manual, I think you will

see this "set screw" which is actually a tapered plug, which is removed

for lubricating the throw-out bearing. In practice this lubrication is

usually not done, as there is enough clutch fluid around to provide

lubrication for the throw-out bearing.
