Re: 1917 engine assembly
Hi- I'm getting close to the point where I will be putting the block
back on the crankcase. Does anyone have a recommended procedure? The
manual calls for all the rods with pistons and rings to be installed on
the crank first. The rods being tight enough to stay in the upright
position. This seems risky to me with the possibility of bending the
rods or breacking the rings etc. Any suggestions would be much
appreciated.
