Which way does it go George, which way does it go?

When I got my '26 motor from Jack Smith, the coil mounting bracket

mounted on the front of the cylinder head was mounted down. I have pictures

of a '24 motor that has the bracket the same way. The spare '25 motor out in

the shed has the bracket pointed up and I have photos of a '25 with the

bracket oriented the same way. Which way did Hudson mount it on the mid

twenties cars?
