My 24 car has the older type coil mounted to the firewall on the righthand

side.

It is held on with 4 bolts, it has a HT lead coming from the centre of

insulated tube.

It looks to be original. On the other cars the coils have been replaced at

sometime

and have been mounted on the firewall. The 29 coil is mounted on the cly.
