Gentlemen - on HET site Bull. Bd. this a.m. is notification of the

auction of subject car in London. I recognize it from photos

received 30 yrs. ago from one Antonio Lobo who lived/lives in

Portugal.

It is/was undoubtably the finest original '29 H, regardless of body

style, extant. The photos I have show one of the dual sidemount

tires was still an orig. tire (white Goodyear dot on the side).

If you look at the photos at the christies.com site the paint, top,

covering on std. (on club sd.) trunk are all original. The interior

was just incredible (30 yrs. ago), hadn't even faded!

Under the hood it had been "duded up" a little but all parts orig.

For Chris Purdum: this is the car I lent you photos of to do your

clients '29 club sd. (can't remember his name).

If you have any ques. you'd like to ask about it I still have the

photos & would be glad to help. Altho for sale in England you can

see it is a left hand drive car.
