LeBarron-Bonney

I just called the folks at LeBarron Bonney to order some of the hood

lacing. Unfortunately for us, they only carry the 7/8 x 3/16 in the channeled

style, not the flat so I let it go. For those of you who have fitted and

adjusted hoods before, can a good job be made of it using the thinner 1/8

material? Would doubling the lacing not make it too thick? The channeled

style IS available in 3/16 and might make a good fit even if it looks wrong.

What did you folks who have assembled these Super Six cars use when you did

it? Your opinions requested.
