The Motor Is In!

    Thanks to the generous exertions of my two stalwart buddies, Neil Makin

    and Big Jim Headley, the '26 Coupe has a new motor after 6 years of effort.

    Key to getting it in the car was patience, a balance bar and lots of beef.

    The balance bar allowed the rear of the engine to be dipped into place

    missing the steering gear and other items. Readjusting the bar brought the

    front end down level again for the motor's final positioning. In the attached

    photo, Big Jim assists Neil in his quest for a headache remedy.
