A very clever mod! A previous owner of my Coupe had taken the factory

cutout off and hidden a voltage regulator up under the dash. The modified

charging system worked pretty well. My new motor has a generator with the

original style cutout and I can either remove the regulator and retain the

cutout or modify the existing generator/cutout system to use the regulated

system. Any comments about this? What needs to be done to the gen/cutout to

use the regulator?
