Oil Pump Leak

Thanks Geoff & John for your reply. This is another case where I got no reply

on my AOL email but luckily tried the Messages section of the list home page.

The leak does appear to be from the copper washer between the bronze casting

and the gourd shaped bauble underneath. Does this all come apart easily, or

should I just try tightening the nut? I really have only a dim image of what

might be inside this unit, but at least I can get at everything now with the

radiator still out. The top washer does appear to be nylon, not very period

at all. Fortunately it will be mostly hidden by the distributor and radiator!
