John has had a few good replies to his questions and I thought I would

add a few more comments. When you change your oil, (I use Castrol GTX 20-50

as Geoff does) you do add 7 quarts. When you have had the pan off, the dipper

tray will be emptied and the motor will need an additional 2 quarts, 9 quarts

total. I oil the rockers before every drive. Those Hyatt bearings are

impossible to find nowadays!

John, I would love to hear more about your '27. Can you tell us something

about it? Which side are the spark plugs on? How about a few pics?
