Hello again........



I have a few more questions for the the group and hopefully some

anwsers.



1. How much oil do I put in the overhead oilers? Am I supposed to

see the level or is it a matter of so many drops? As it was

stated before, I do not want to burn any bearings.



2. I took the Hudson out for a ride yesterday and stopped at a gas

station to fill up the tank. When I tried to start it

it would not. but it did flood out all over. Also after jump starting

it and proceeding home there was no power and black smoke (to rich)

was pouring out the tail pipe.

The damper on the dash was set to hot and I did not change it after it

was warmed up.Would this have cause my problems or do you think the

float was stuck in the carb. Anyways, I was stranded!
